Indian AI unicorn Sarvam announced it is building a trillion-parameter frontier AI model hosted entirely in India, and launched an India-hosted inference service. The company also unveiled a new AI coding agent that it claims is cheaper than rivals like Claude and Codex. Mistral AI founding team member Devendra Singh Chaplot has joined as an advisor.
