mint - companies·Saturday, 18 July 2026

Jio Platforms has filed its DRHP — the formal IPO application document — with SEBI, and is set to begin informal investor meetings next week. The IPO could be worth ₹32,000–35,000 crore, which would make it India's largest public offering. In Q1FY27, Jio reported a 9.2% rise in profit to ₹7,764 crore, with earnings growing 15% year-on-year.
Why It Matters
Jio touches hundreds of millions of Indian lives through telecom and digital services. Its stock market debut would give ordinary investors a chance to own a piece of one of India's most powerful companies.
