Air India to Resume Normal Flight Routes from September After Months of Costly Detours

Air India plans to restore most of its flights from September, after being forced to fly longer routes to Europe and North America because of the closure of Pakistani airspace and the West Asia conflict. These detours increased fuel costs and reduced how efficiently the airline could use its planes. The return to normal routes should cut those costs significantly.
