Microsoft Is Building an Undersea Cable Linking India to Southeast Asia

Microsoft has partnered with Singapore's Lightstorm to build the I-2SEA undersea cable, a 3,600 km link connecting India, Malaysia, and Singapore. The project is aimed at supporting AI and cloud infrastructure. The cable is expected to be operational by late 2029 and will significantly enhance India's data capacity.
