Air India Cuts International Fuel Surcharges โ Flights to the US and Europe Just Got Cheaper
MintยทFriday, 3 July 2026
Air India has lowered fuel surcharges on long-haul international flights following a drop in oil prices. The surcharge for flights to North America and Australia has been cut to $200 per ticket from $280. For Europe and the UK routes, it has dropped to $125 from $205.
Why It Matters
If you're planning a trip abroad, this directly reduces what you pay on your Air India ticket โ no small amount given these were surcharges on top of base fares.
