Anthropic's Most Powerful AI Model Yet Refuses to Discuss Certain Dangerous Topics
Anthropic released Claude Fable 5, which it calls the most powerful model it has ever made widely available. The company says Fable 5 performs exceptionally in software engineering, knowledge work, and vision tasks, with its lead over other models growing as tasks get longer and more complex. Separately, Anthropic has also identified specific topics — including cybersecurity, biology, and chemistry — that the model will refuse to discuss.
