Music's Biggest Labels Want AI Songs Banned From the Charts Entirely

Universal Music Group, Sony Music, and Warner Music Group have jointly proposed rules that would make AI-generated songs ineligible for music chart rankings. The proposal goes further than a separate labelling suggestion put forward by the RIAA and the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry. This is one of the most aggressive industry moves yet against AI-generated music.
