Hockey India's Jersey Row Deepens as President Says He Was Kept in the Dark

Hockey India president Dilip Tirkey sent an email to executive board members saying the decision to change the Indian hockey team's jersey colour to saffron was taken without his prior knowledge or executive board discussion. He has sought written clarification on the process followed and how the change was approved. Executive director RK Srivastava defended the saffron kit on technical and performance grounds.
