LG Monitors Are Quietly Installing McAfee Adware on Windows PCs

A video by Gamers Nexus revealed that plugging a new LG UltraGear monitor into a Windows 11 PC causes Windows Update to silently install the LG Monitor App Installer — without asking permission. That app then installs McAfee software, which shows pop-up ads. Users are not notified that any of this is happening.
