FCC Moves to Kill the Rule That Stops One Company Owning Most of America's TV

FCC Chairman Brendan Carr announced a vote on August 6th to abolish the national TV ownership cap, which currently stops any single company from owning broadcast stations that reach more than 39 percent of US TV households. The rule was designed to prevent one media giant from dominating the airwaves. Carr announced the move in a Breitbart op-ed.
