CBSE Makes Third Language Mandatory to Pass Class 9 and 10 from 2027-28

CBSE has announced that Class 9 and 10 students must clear an internal assessment in a third language to pass, starting from the 2027-28 academic year. Schools will reassess students who cannot clear the assessment in the first attempt. This is a new academic requirement from the board.
