White House Appoints 'Aliens' Scientist to Lead Official UFO Advisory Council

Harvard astrophysicist Avi Loeb — known for his controversial claims about extraterrestrial origins of space objects — has been appointed to head the UAP Science Advisory Council. The Council was established by the White House, the Pentagon, the FBI, and the intelligence community. Its job is to produce scientific reports to help resolve what UAPs, or Unidentified Aerial Phenomena, actually are.
Why It Matters
This is the first time the US government has formally institutionalised scientific oversight of UFO-related phenomena at this level. It signals a shift in how seriously the US is treating UAP investigation as a matter of national security and science.
