The US and Iran exchanged fresh strikes as thousands gathered in Mashhad to bury Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was killed in earlier US-Israeli attacks. CENTCOM said it hit 90 Iranian targets, and Iran's health ministry reported 14 people killed since Tuesday. The renewed hostilities followed a ceasefire and a June US-Iran accord that now appears to be collapsing.
