Russia Could Be Back at the Olympics — IOC Provisionally Lifts Ban on Russian Committee

The International Olympic Committee has provisionally lifted the suspension of the Russian Olympic Committee, meaning Russian athletes could compete under their own flag at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. The original suspension was imposed after the ROC included regional sports councils from occupied areas of Ukraine. The IOC said those conditions no longer apply.
