mint - companiesยทSunday, 5 July 2026

Air India has reduced fuel surcharges on long-haul international flights following a fall in oil prices. The surcharge for flights to North America and Australia drops to $200 per ticket from $280, while the Europe and UK surcharge falls to $125 from $205. This directly lowers the cost of international travel for passengers.
Why It Matters
If you're planning an international trip, this is good news โ your ticket could cost meaningfully less than it did just weeks ago.
