Air India Cuts International Fuel Surcharges as Oil Prices Drop
mint - companiesยทSaturday, 4 July 2026
Air India has reduced fuel surcharges on long-haul international flights following a fall in oil prices. The surcharge for flights to North America and Australia drops to $200 per ticket from $280, while Europe and UK routes fall to $125 from $205. This directly lowers the base cost of booking international tickets on Air India.
Why It Matters
If you are planning a trip abroad, this means your Air India ticket could be noticeably cheaper than it was a few months ago.
