Netflix Is Cloning a Dead Actor's Voice With AI for Its New Willy Wonka Show

Netflix confirmed that its upcoming reality show, Wonka's The Golden Ticket, will use an AI-generated version of Gene Wilder's voice for narration. The show premieres September 23rd. Wilder, who played Willy Wonka in the 1971 film, died in 2016 โ and it is unclear whether his estate approved the use.
