Jai Moondra, born in Tonk, Rajasthan, made his T20I debut for Ireland against India in Belfast and struck with the very first delivery of his spell in the second over of India's innings. He moved to Ireland in 2021 to pursue a Master's degree in Electronics and Communication and worked his way up through Leinster Cricket Club. He became only the second Irish cricketer to achieve this particular feat on debut.
