Iran Shuts Strait of Hormuz as US-Iran Talks Collapse — India's Oil Supply at Risk

Iran said it closed the Strait of Hormuz after Israel struck Lebanon, violating a memorandum of understanding signed with the US earlier this week. US-Iran talks scheduled for Sunday in Switzerland were subsequently cancelled. The Strait of Hormuz is one of the world's most critical oil shipping routes.
