US President Donald Trump announced a peace deal with Iran over the weekend, ending months of hostilities that had shut the Strait of Hormuz and triggered a global oil shock. Asian markets surged Monday, with Tokyo and Seoul benchmarks initially jumping more than 5%. Oil prices fell more than $4 a barrel on the news.
