SEBI Takes Sahara Case to Supreme Court After Lower Tribunal Gives Relief to Managers

Market regulator SEBI has moved the Supreme Court against relief granted to managers of a Sahara Group entity in a case involving optionally fully convertible debentures (OFCDs). The tribunal had noted that the entity mobilised around โน14,106 crore from nearly 1.98 crore investors through these instruments. SEBI is challenging the relief given to those who managed the scheme.
